Custom Oral Health Treatment Plan
At All Smiles Family Dentistry, when a patient arrives for a cosmetic consultation, they will undergo a meticulous exam, including dental X-rays and a full photographic survey in their photo studio. Dr. Pruitt will create a personalized oral health treatment plan that incorporates the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to achieve the most optimal results for your smile.
This plan will provide various cosmetic procedures. These range from simple treatments to full mouth rehabilitation, based on the patient’s needs. Typically, Dr. Pruitt will gather data (digital scans, photos, X-rays, etc…) at the first appointment, and then come up with treatment plan options and steps at a subsequent visit. In the case of cosmetic treatment, she will put together a PowerPoint with all pertinent information, as well as a digital rendering using digital design software. She uses the photos along with the digital scans to create a trial smile for the patient to review prior to making the decision to move ahead with treatment.
This is critical so everyone is fully on board with the plan and that proper steps and expectations are being communicated.
By carefully crafting a customized plan, we ensure that every step of your cosmetic dental journey is aligned with your vision of the perfect smile.
Enhance Your Smile
Cosmetic dentistry can address the details that make you feel less confident when you smile such as stains, chips, uneven edges, gaps, worn teeth, or mild alignment concerns. The right treatment depends on your oral health, the condition of your teeth, and the result you want to achieve.
Some patients benefit from a quick, conservative treatment such as professional whitening or composite bonding. Others may be better candidates for veneers, crowns, Invisalign, or a coordinated smile makeover. Dr. Pruitt will explain the benefits and considerations of each option, so you can make an informed decision without pressure. Composite bonding, for example, can be used to adjust a tooth’s shape, size, color, or small gaps, while veneers are custom coverings that can improve the look of discolored, chipped, uneven, or mildly misaligned teeth.
Cosmetic Dental Procedures at All Smiles Family Dentistry
At All Smiles Family Dentistry, Dr. Pruitt offers a range of cosmetic dental treatments designed to enhance your smile’s natural beauty while supporting long-term oral health.
Composite Bonding
Quick and minimally invasive, composite bonding involves the application of tooth-colored resin to correct chips, cracks, gaps, or discoloration.
Porcelain Veneers
Custom-designed to fit over the front surfaces of your teeth, veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain that conceal imperfections like stains, misalignment, or worn edges. Fabricated by a skilled dental laboratory technician, veneers deliver a dramatically improved yet natural-looking smile.
Porcelain Crowns
When a tooth requires full coverage due to damage or extensive wear, porcelain crowns restore both function and esthetics. These lab-crafted crowns encase the entire tooth, providing strength and a lifelike appearance, ideal for teeth that show when you smile.
Teeth Whitening
Brighten your smile several shades with professional teeth whitening. Our in-office and take-home options remove deep-set stains caused by coffee, wine, smoking, and aging, helping you achieve a noticeably whiter, more confident smile.
Invisalign®
Straighten your teeth discreetly with Invisalign clear aligners. This modern orthodontic solution offers a virtually invisible alternative to traditional braces, ideal for adults and teens looking to improve alignment without metal brackets or wires.
Botox for Cosmetic Enhancement
In addition to dental esthetics, Dr. Pruitt offers Botox treatments to smooth fine lines around the mouth and forehead, delivering a more youthful appearance. Botox can also help enhance the results of a smile makeover.

What Type of Smile Problems Do Veneers Fix?
Dental veneers are one of the most versatile cosmetic dentistry options available. These ultra-thin porcelain shells are bonded to the front of your teeth to mask a variety of imperfections, including:
- Stains or deep discoloration
- Chipped, cracked, or worn-down teeth
- Mildly crooked or misshapen teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Teeth that appear too small or uneven
Because veneers are custom-made to match your desired tooth shape and color, they’re ideal for patients who want a total smile makeover with natural-looking results.
What Are the Benefits of Veneers?
Porcelain veneers provide a powerful combination of aesthetic and functional benefits for anyone looking to elevate their smile. They can instantly transform the look of your teeth in just a few visits, creating a dramatic improvement in your overall appearance. Because they are crafted from high-quality porcelain, veneers are also resistant to common stains from coffee, tea, and wine, helping your smile stay brighter for longer.
With proper care, they are remarkably durable, often lasting 10 to 15 years or more. Veneers are custom-designed to match the color, shape, and size of your surrounding teeth, delivering a natural look that blends seamlessly into your smile. Plus, the procedure is minimally invasive, requiring less enamel removal than traditional crowns. Whether you’re fixing small cosmetic imperfections or undergoing a full smile makeover, veneers offer a lasting, sophisticated solution.
After Veneers: How to Maintain Your New Smile
- Practice good oral hygiene: Brush and floss daily, just like natural teeth.
- Avoid biting on hard objects: Don’t use your teeth to open packages or bite on ice, which could chip the veneer.
- Wear a night guard if needed: If you grind your teeth at night, a night guard can help protect your investment.
- Schedule regular checkups: Routine visits with Dr. Pruitt will ensure your veneers and natural teeth stay in excellent shape.
With the proper care, your veneers will continue to give you a beautiful, confident smile for years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
The best starting point is a consultation with Dr. Pruitt. After a full exam, X-rays, and a photographic survey, she will walk you through the options that best match your goals, budget, and oral health needs before any treatment begins.
Yes, and many patients do. A smile makeover often combines teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding in a coordinated sequence. Dr. Pruitt will map out the ideal order of treatments so each procedure supports the next for the most cohesive final result.
Composite bonding uses tooth-colored resin applied directly to the tooth in a single visit and is best suited for minor repairs. Porcelain veneers are lab-crafted shells that cover the entire front surface of a tooth, offering a more durable and comprehensive transformation for patients with multiple concerns.
With proper care, composite bonding typically lasts 5 to 7 years before it may need touching up or replacement. Avoiding habits like nail biting, chewing on ice, or biting hard foods helps extend its lifespan significantly.
Yes. Dr. Pruitt collaborates with highly skilled dental laboratory technicians to match the color, shape, and translucency of your surrounding teeth. The goal is always a result that looks beautiful and completely natural, not artificial or overdone.
Most cosmetic procedures are intended for adults whose teeth and jaws have fully developed. Younger patients may qualify for certain treatments on a case-by-case basis. During your consultation, Dr. Pruitt will advise on the most appropriate timing for any cosmetic work.
Veneers require only a small amount of enamel to be removed from the front surface of each tooth, typically less than a millimeter. This is significantly less than what is needed for a crown, making veneers one of the more conservative options for full smile transformations.
Yes. Many patients choose to combine Botox with a smile makeover for a more complete facial rejuvenation. Since Dr. Pruitt offers both in the same practice, treatments can be coordinated conveniently in fewer visits.
For the first 48 hours after bonding, avoid strongly pigmented foods and drinks like coffee, red wine, and berries while the resin fully sets. Long term, both bonding and veneers benefit from avoiding excessive force, so steer clear of chewing on hard objects, using your teeth as tools, or grinding without a night guard.
